5 Friday Favorites

This is 2 posts in a week, people. We’re breaking records over here!

Here are some of my favorite things from the week:

Wild and Free: I can’t recommend this book more. As its tagline suggests, it certainly is “a hope-filled anthem for the woman who feels she is both too much and never enough.” Although I haven’t said much about it here on the blog, I’ve struggled, for the past year, to figure out just how much I should be doing and committing to, while at the same time, trying to figure out how much I should be backing out of. I feel an ever-present tug of war between a desire to always do more and be better in every area of my life while also desiring to rest in the awesomeness of where I’m at right now and enjoying the moment. This book validated my feelings, helped give me some insight and peace, and made it clear that almost every woman feels this way. I HIGHLY recommend this book, ladies!!!IMG_2026Indigo Beaux box: I totally forgot that I was going to be getting this box so when it came in the mail this week, all pretty and well-packaged, I was giddy. Indigo Beaux is a subscription box service delivering high-quality health, beauty, and relaxation products sent to you every month. I LOVE this month’s box! I can’t say enough good things about the super luxurious facial serum and I use the goat’s milk hand lotion before bed (my hands are super calloused from pull ups at the gym, so I cover my hands in lotion right before I go to sleep!). I haven’t used the lipstick yet and can’t wait to try it out the next time that I get fancy, then the herbal pillow! I heated mine and laid it over my eyes before going to bed last night. It sounds so silly, but this relaxed me so much. I LOVE the herbal pillow! Elliot finds himself at a crossroad when the mysterious leader of an underground hacker group recruits him to destroy the corporation he is paid to protect.” The description of the show makes it sound super geeky…but it’s not. I’d say it’s very dark and not very predictable. If you’re looking for something different but addicting, this is it! mr-robotCeline Dion’s Impression of Rihanna. I had no idea. All of her impressions are spot on. Celine is amazing!

VOSS Lemongrass Tangerine Sparkling Water: This stuff is incredibly refreshing and makes you feel like you’re at the spa. I love the light herbal flavors. They’re not sweet and don’t taste fake. Drink this stuff ice cold and I swear it will make you happier.IMG_1957

Mark, Hudson and I are off the hang out at the Jaguar’s scrimmage! Have an awesome weekend! 🙂
