It was a busy but amazing weekend for us. I don’t think I was actually home for more than a couple hours…here are just a few of the highlights:
As for the announcement stuff (there’s nothing life-changing), let’s get right to it….
- The Funky Fork is getting a facelift. I have had a logo designed and the website re-designed…all of which should be up and running in a month or less. Yay! Both the logo and website design are pretty incredible. I can’t wait for you to see them! The reason I’m telling you all this though, is so that you don’t think you’ve gone to the wrong blog when everything looks totally different. 🙂
- As one of the things that I REALLY wanted to do for my birthday this year, a bunch of my friends and I are running in the Capes and Shields 5k on November 8th in St. Augustine Beach. We’re dressing up as superheros and making it fun (plus it benefits Habitat for Humanity– which I’m all about!). The more, the merrier– run with me!!!
As one of the most-requested features on my blog, here’s this week’s meal plan at the Bailey house:
Monday: Leftovers…we’ve got leftovers from a bunch of meals from the weekend that need to be eaten.
Tuesday: Baked Chicken Thighs, steamed broccoli, sweet potato tater tots (<—thank you, Trader Joes!!!)
Wednesday: Easy Paleo Hamburger Pie, salad
Thursday: Grilled turkey breasts, lemon-roasted asparagus
Friday: Hearty Beef Stew
I also spent some time recently putting together a 200 beats-per-measure playlist for my fast runs. I’ve had a couple of people email me asking me how to find me on Spotify. To make it easy, here’s my “fast” run playlist:
That’s all I’ve got…a little bit of everything all rolled into one post.
