Man oh man. I love pancakes.
I made the 5-ingredient pancakes that I wrote about last week for breakfast this morning. I topped them with about a tablespoon of almond butter, about 1/2 tablespoon of Kerrygold butter, fresh blueberries, and a drizzle of maple syrup. They were so good and I was incredibly full until about 1pm…that never happens!
I also really love tacos.
So I had a taco salad for lunch.
The rest of what I have to say in today’s post is kinda touchy-feely…I’m just in that mood…
I’m having some anxiety about a few things that I have going on this week. To ease this anxiety a bit, I’ve decided to write a list of what I’m grateful for and a few small victories that I’ve recently accomplished. Sometimes seeing on paper that I’ve worked hard and needlessly stressed in the past gives me the permission to let it all go and trust the process…
I also found this great quote. I feel like I had an “a-ha” moment:
“Worrying is carrying tomorrow’s load with today’s strength- carrying two days at once. It is moving into tomorrow ahead of time. Worrying doesn’t empty tomorrow of its sorrow, it empties today of its strength.”
I finally feel confidant in myself and the work that I’m putting into every aspect of my life– and I’m not going to let worrying about tomorrow strip me of my this!
Cheers to a lovely Wednesday afternoon!
