Sunday Funday

I absolutely love Sundays. Almost every one of my Sunday involves the same  things: church, do-nothing time, meal prep, a walk, laundry and a little housework, The Walking Dead and occasionally a family meal/family time.

This one was no different. Mark and I watched our church service from home while eating breakfast. Then we decided that we were in a “movie mood” and  watched This Is 40. It was cute movie. We totally enjoyed it!

Laundry and housework were followed by a little lazy time (I took a nap and Mark played video games) then we cooked dinner and watched The Walking Dead.

Breakfast:

1 organic Fiji apple (we buy these in bulk at Costco)

1/2 scoop of Amplified Wheybolic Protein- chocolate flavor

2 tablespoons almond butter

roughly 3 tablespoons of Almond Coconut Milk (SO good, by the way!)

Lunch

leftover ground beef

1 tablespoon ketchup

4 teaspoons mustard

Snack

Green smoothie: about 3 cups of spinach, about 4 strawberries, 1/2 of a banana, about 2 tablespoons of raw flax seeds, 1/2 of an apple, about 5 oz. of coconut almond milk

Starbucks skinny vanilla latte (this is a very rare treat- milk makes me feel kinda yucky)

Dinner

4 oz of Mustard Lime Chicken (recipe from the blog Stir It Up— it turned out very delicious!)

1 cup of steamed broccoli

 

Our annual snowboarding trip to Jackson Hole, WY is quickly approaching so we’ve been doing our best to eat ultra clean and hold ourselves accountable for not missing workouts. This is mostly due to the fact along with the obvious snowboarding part, we LOVE to eat in Jackson Hole. Seriously the food is so good! We pretty much eat whatever we want with no guilt. Vacations are the best!
