A Trip to New Orleans & A Workout

I think it’s because I’m happy that I’m craving them. I know…weird. I tend to crave things (and give into eating things) when I’m happy and life is really good and not when I’m stressed. I lose my appetite when I’m stressed and seem to be hungrier than ever when things are good. I have to work pretty dang hard to keep both ends of the spectrum in check.

Now that we’ve addressed that…moving on…

I’m headed to New Orleans tomorrow with a couple of my closest girl friends for my sweet friend Julia’s wedding! Now that I’ve almost accomplished everything piling up on the to-do lists at the jobs and home, I am getting excited. I feel like now I can go away and have fun and not worry what I have waiting back at home for me.

I can’t wait to taste the local deliciousness and see the sights of New Orleans–I’ve never been there before! Plus, I haven’t gone away with my friends in years…like probably 5 or 6 years. So this weekend will be very good!

I’m short on time because of all I need to do before we actually get on the road tomorrow morning, so catch you on the flip side! 🙂


P.S. I enjoyed this workout yesterday morning. It was a perfect mix of cardio and strength for me! 🙂
